Service Line
Gamified restaurant operations training — a virtual shift where your team learns every station and proves they’re ready for the rush.
The first title in Simvado’s Frontline Simulations line — the same framework, reskinned for other industries soon.
The Concept
A virtual restaurant where readiness is earned, not assumed.
Service Line drops employees into a living, breathing quick-service restaurant. They rotate through every station — taking orders, working the drive-through, cooking on the line, prepping product, and running the floor — completing task-based modules that mirror a real shift.
As they level up from a guided tutorial to a full-blown crisis, the pressure scales: more guests, tighter timing, and the unexpected problems that separate a trained operator from a new one. Every shift produces a measurable read on how ready they really are.
A Look Inside
Cinematic environments, built in-engine.

The Stations
Five stations. One complete operator.
Front Counter
Greet guests, take and customize orders, handle payments, and resolve complaints — all while keeping the line moving and the lobby clean.
Drive-Through
Juggle the headset, screen, and window. Take orders accurately, sequence cars, and hit speed-of-service targets without sacrificing the order.
Kitchen / Grill
Cook to spec, manage hold times, and keep up with the order queue during a rush while following food-safety and temperature standards.
Prep
Stock stations, portion ingredients, rotate product (FIFO), and keep the line supplied so nothing runs out at the worst possible moment.
Shift Management
Position the team, react to the rush, handle escalations, and make the trade-offs between speed, accuracy, and labor that define a good shift.
How It Works
Four levels, from first day to the deep end.
Tutorial
Learn the station. Guided, low-pressure walkthroughs of every task with instant feedback — no penalties, just reps.
Standard Service
A steady flow of guests at a realistic pace. Build muscle memory and consistency on the fundamentals.
Rush Hour
The lunch peak hits. Orders stack up, tickets compete for attention, and every second of hesitation shows on the board.
Crisis
Equipment fails, an order is wrong, a teammate calls out, and the line is out the door. Stay composed and triage under real pressure.
What It Measures
Five signals, one readiness score.
Speed, Accuracy, Customer Satisfaction, and Safety Compliance roll up into a single Operational Readiness score — a clear, comparable benchmark for any employee on any station.
For Employers
Built for restaurant chains and operators.
Pre-hire assessment
Screen candidates on realistic tasks before they ever step behind the counter. Hire for aptitude, not just résumés.
Remote new-hire training
Onboard staff before day one. New hires arrive already familiar with every station, cutting ramp time and early turnover.
Staff benchmarking
Compare performance across people, shifts, and locations on a consistent, objective scorecard — and coach to the gaps.
Operational data for AI & robotics
Anonymized, structured data on how real operators make decisions under pressure — a training signal for companies building the next generation of automation.
